The Globe Foundation is a private, independent foundation that develops opportunities for individuals, organizations and academic institutions, to create global learning experiences. The foundation was founded in 2003 by Suzanne Fehsenfeld.

What are some of the accomplishments of the Globe Foundation?

Answer. The Globe Foundation provided three Indiana University graduate students in the field of education, an India Internship program. The Internship included travel to Bangalore, India and working students and faculty at the Christel House India School for four weeks. The interns observed and assisted the Indian teachers, students and faculty. The Indian students shared ideas and utilized the curriculum developed by the interns.

The Globe Foundation matched the $7,299.60, The Orchard School students in Indianapolis, Indiana raised for the Tsunami victims early in March 2005.

Some of the additional partners of the Globe Foundation utilizing the curriculum developed by the interns are the Orchard School in Indianapolis, Indiana, Chrsitel House Mexico, Dai ichi Junior High School in Japan, Kabbs Academy in Ghana.
